COBRA

The COBRA™ Coronary Stent System combines a unique design and an advanced cobalt super alloy to create one of the most advanced stents available today. Cobra’s superior architecture and material result in thinner struts (71um) as compared to the best selling stents today i.e., Medtronic Driver (91um) and Abbott Vision (81um).

Stent strut thickness is important and several significant articles correlate increased strut thickness with a higher incidence of restenosis*. Cobra’s struts are amongst the thinnest available without sacrificing radial strength.
Cobra’s thin struts and tightly-wrapped balloon result in an incredibly low-profile device.

In fact, Cobra is more than 15% thinner than either Vision or Driver, enabling physicians to more easily treat difficult lesions.
COBRA is a highly competitive platform as compared against the leading stents sold in the world. In particular, quantitative coronary angiography results from chronic pre-clinical testing of COBRA implants have shown a statistically significant reduction in percent stenosis versus the Driver, with results nearing typical drug eluting stent ranges.
